Licking Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) respects the privacy of everyone who visits lickingmha.org. This policy explains what information the website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.

Information we collect

This website does not use analytics services, advertising trackers, or third-party marketing cookies. It does not ask you to create an account, and it has no online forms. You can read every page without giving us any personal information.

Like all websites, ours is delivered by a web server that keeps standard technical logs. These may include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. Our web host uses these logs only to operate and secure the site.

Information you send us

If you email a staff member, call our office, or mail or deliver an application or form, we use the information you provide to respond to you and to administer our housing programs. We keep it only as long as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the State of Ohio, and our own records retention schedule.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank details, or medical information by email. Call the office at 740-349-8069 and we will tell you the safe way to submit it.

Public records

LMHA is a public body. Records we create or receive, including correspondence, may be public records subject to disclosure under Ohio public records law. Some information is protected from release by federal and state law, including tenant and applicant information protected by the Privacy Act and HUD regulations.

Cookies

We do not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Fonts are served from our own web server, so no request is made to an outside font service. The Housing Choice Voucher video on our Section 8 page is hosted on YouTube: it is not embedded in the page, so nothing loads from YouTube until you choose to click the link. Once you do, YouTube receives your IP address and applies its own privacy policy.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to other organizations, including HUD, legal aid providers and local agencies. Links that leave lickingmha.org open in a new window and are announced to screen reader users. Once you follow a link, you are subject to the privacy policy of that website. LMHA is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

Children

This website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it.
